Revisions to the Financing Formula

Since beginning the review of the financing formula, ÉEQ has followed a participatory process by meeting with government authorities, packaging manufacturers and European eco-organizations. ÉEQ held its first meeting with the Steering Committee made up of company representatives who will guide and direct ÉEQ’s actions throughout the process. We will also meet with the Association Committee in September, while all contributing companies will be invited to a webinar to be announced in the fall.

Throughout the process, ÉEQ will benefit from consulting experts in finance and sustainable development, including Jacques Fortin, full professor at the HEC Montréal’s Accounting Department and environmental accounting expert.
