Sonia Gagné, President and CEO
RECYC-QUÉBEC

Sonia Gagné started her career at RECYC-QUÉBEC as director of talent and skills management before becoming vice-president of operational performance.  As such, she was responsible for the continuous improvement of operations and customer service, in addition to playing a key role in positioning the corporation as leader in waste management in Québec. Her front line expertise, combined with her comprehensive understanding of the sector’s issues, has propelled her to the position of interim president and CEO, where she continues to steer the corporation towards its strategic objectives.

Over the course of her career, Sonia Gagné has developed advanced skills in building consensus and mobilizing various actors around common goals, while fostering an approach that integrates processes with a human outlook.

Sonia Gagné has over 25 years of experience in training, leadership, and business process optimization both in Québec and abroad. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychosociology from UQAM.
