Fireside Chat: An Example of Meaningful Collaboration, The Circular Plastics Taskforce

Rooted into a unique partnership between brand owners, packaging producers and an industry association, the Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT) was created with a goal to optimize the plastics recycling value chain in Canada by looking at its challenges in a new light.

By starting from the expected outcome – high quality recycled plastics in sufficient quantity –, the initiative aims to identify and trial the best solutions likely to create a circular economy for all plastics. The ongoing project led by the CPT is made possible thanks to the financial support of Éco Entreprises Québec and Environment and Climate Change Canada.
