The recruits of ÉEQ — Fall 2021
New developments are in store at Éco Entreprises Québec! This past month, our team welcomed Lynda Touati as Assistant to the Vice-Presidency, Marie-Eve Morin as Director of Communications and Sébastien Giroux as Director for the Schedule of Contributions.
Lynda, an impressive CV
Having graduated from the University of Algiers in Human Sciences and English Studies, Lynda kicked off her career as a secondary school teacher and freelance translator. She now has more than twenty years of professional experience across a variety of fields thanks to her time at the British Embassy in Algeria, the Syndicat des professionnelles et professionnels municipaux de Montréal, the National Bank and the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec.
She is tasked with coordinating the Vice President’s administrative activities, overseeing meetings, committees and events, and managing the different committees’ online portals.
With her highly developed organisational skills, her sharp attention to detail and her strong interpersonal skills, Lynda will know how to assist the vice-presidency and general director in successfully carrying out the transition office’s action plan for the modernization of curbside recycling.
Marie-Eve, all roads lead to ÉEQ
Marie-Eve works closely with the Vice President of Public Affairs and Government Relations in planning and directing internal and external communications activities. She will also be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies, showcasing ÉEQ’s strong awareness campaign management, and supervising the organization’s events logistics.
With a Bachelor of Communications from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), Marie-Eve is very well acquainted with the municipal world; she helped coordinate various communications activities in the Centre-du-Québec region and for the Des Sources RCM.
At Cascades, she strengthened her expertise in project management as a Senior Consultant in Communications.
With over 15 years of experience in the industrial, municipal and paragovernmental sectors, it seems as though all roads lead to ÉEQ and there’s no doubt Marie-Eve will successfully take up any challenge that awaits her.
Sébastien, expert in fee structures
Having graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke in business management with a concentration in finance, Sébastien is the ideal candidate to oversee the production of the Schedule of Contributions and the accountability for institutions of governance at ÉEQ.
Fee structures hold no secrets for him: Sébastien previously worked as the Associate Manager in group underwriting at the Great-West before taking on the role of Director of Group Underwriting at the Blue Cross for four years.
His skills and expertise will contribute to the Schedule’s growth in a modernization of curbside recycling setting. He will also be managing a team of experts creating financial analyses and scenarios for the development of a contributions table.
